In Nike tennis shoes, whats does “DRC2″ mean?

I have a maximum resolution of most Nike shoes and I don 't know that the "DRC2" means. Furthermore, what does the "armor" of the court; face?

DRC2 is a name for the residue of rubber which is used in the soles.
